While out Christmas shopping, I stumbled across the book "The Soup Bible", amazon it yourself. I've been anxious to try out some of the tasty looking soup recipes. Tonight was my first attempt, I wanted something warm and with enough body to satisfy (like my women). I decided on the "Yogurt Soup" recipe, which is apparently a traditional Indian soup. It seemed to be coming together, my house smelled(smells) good. I served up a bowl and it was...not good. It was pour it down the sink not good.
To quote the movie Batman Begins, "Bruce, why do we fall? So we can learn to pick ourselves back up." So tomorrow or the next day I'm going to try some "Spicy Cauliflower" concotion. Wish me luck.

yogurt...soup?
I think you could have measured out the ingredients a la mise en place ([french accent] Meezan-PLAH!).. then dumped everything down the drain before even turning on the stove.
good luck, my friend.
Dinner ended up being a peach milkshake. I think I'm going to make nachos tonight. Happy New Year Jon/Fam! But seriously, if you get a long straw and drink my milkshake up, I'm going to cry.
I hate, hate when a recipe that looks awesome fails miserably. Love to hear how other recipes in that book turn out!
"Peach Milkshake is fine."
