A few months back, in anticipation of The Dark Knight, Compton told me about some very special seats in the IMAX theater in Sandy. Apparently there are two seats in the theater around which the audio and visual are ideal (and tuned). They're oversized, leather, have extra leg room, etc. We managed to book these seats for the Tuesday night showing of the movie.
I must say this was the greatest cinematic experience of my life. The IMAX scenes (30 minutes worth) were absolutely overwhelming. Christopher Nolan did a great job of using the IMAX format to add emphasis, scale, and detail to the movie. Heath Ledger was absolutely brilliant. If you have the means, I highly recommend it.
